A Wisdom Bomb for Making Decisions

Do you have wise friends? Or at least ONE wise friend? Thankfully, I do. Several, actually. And when they drop a wisdom bomb on me, it sears in my mind and hopefully pops up when needed. I needed this particular wisdom bomb recently, so I hope this resonates with you as well and proves useful in the future...or perhaps right now.

This was several years ago, and I was sharing with this friend something that was happening in my life at the time. I honestly don't even remember what that thing was. I only remember her response. She said, "Things from God are simple and clear. Things not from God are confusing."

Recently I was faced with a decision and I was trying to discern if something was an opportunity or a distraction. This "opportunity" sounded so great! But I couldn't get a really clear picture of what it actually entailed and exactly how I would benefit if I signed on. But it was so tempting if it was really true! I was having the hardest time deciding!

And then I remembered: Things from God (or the Light or Source) are simple and clear.

This was neither of those things. So I let it go for now. If it's mine to do, it will be there when things are clear and the timing is right.

So I ask you, are you having to discern something right now? Are you trying to figure something out? Do you need to make a decision about something?

If possible, I would encourage you to wait for the clarity. Wait for what's simple. If it's confusing or chaotic, can you walk away? This is another way of moving towards the Divine. I know every message I've ever received didn't come in the form of paragraphs. It's always simple, clear, and usually two or three words.

My former mentor used to ask me if I've taken my question to my mat. I think this is part of that. That's where clarity is! Sometimes it's not in the thinking mind. It's in the space between. Maybe it's heart, maybe it's gut or soul with a dash of mind. But to get to the simple and clear, I think movement + breath is the best prescription.

Things of the Light are simple and clear. Things of the dark are confusing and chaotic.

May this bring you peace and clarity, and may you be in the Light, today and everyday.

Much love
