This is Natalie from Team Jess! I’m excited to step in as your guest writer for the newsletter this week, while Jess and Nick explore the beautiful and spiritual mysteries of Chartres in France. I can’t wait to hear how this journey inspires Jess and, in turn, how she inspires all of us.
There’s truly nothing quite like a journey to bring us back home to ourselves. Whether it takes us to faraway lands or a nearby sanctuary, every journey has the potential to ignite a spark within us.
When we take a break from our routines and familiar surroundings, we open ourselves to fresh experiences that can shift our perspectives. Each journey, no matter how short, introduces us to new ideas and landscapes, helping us see the world (and ourselves!) in a vibrant new light. These experiences can awaken creativity and inspire us in unexpected ways.
Journeys offer us countless gifts: moments of reflection, spaces to dream, and opportunities to reconnect with our innermost selves. Movement allows us to release stagnant energy and invites new possibilities into our lives. Nature, in all its beauty, reminds us of our essence, grounding us and illuminating our paths. Being mindful lets us fully soak in our surroundings, while sharing our journeys with others fosters community and connection.
One of the things I love most about Jess is that she is always cultivating opportunities for us to journey. Whether it’s through her weekly classes, international retreats, or local events and gatherings, she creates sacred spaces and healing places for us to gather, remember ourselves, feel inspired, and return to our light.
That’s why I’m thrilled that we are bringing back our Return to Your Light Women’s Yoga Retreat on Friday, December 13, at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, Texas. This retreat promises to nourish our spirits, replenish our inner lights, and inspire community among incredible women. I can’t wait to share this experience with you!
As we navigate the busyness of life and the holiday season ahead, let’s remember the importance of taking journeys, big and small. They help us step outside our comfort zones, reignite our energy, and shine a light on our true selves. Consider this your official invitation to embrace this journey and let it lead you back to your own inner light.
I hope to see you there!
With love,
Natalie
