I'm feeling so inspired today by a student in Monday's class, I just have to share.
We were in vajrasana, where you sit on your heels with your legs tucked under. He knew he needed support to create this pose: blocks between his ankles to sit on and a blanket roll supporting his ankles. And yet, it hurt. It was uncomfortable. But, as he told me after class, he embraced the pain. He allowed it to change him as he as able to keep his breath slow and deep. And an emotional release came, along with a physical one as the resistance released. He almost felt like crying, he said. Something was there, and something let go.
And then he felt better.
His ankles and his spirit both felt better by embracing the discomfort and allowing what was beneath the resistance to emerge. (And even better once it was over and he was happily in down dog!)
His story has me thinking: If we just stick with something, even if it's uncomfortable, something will emerge. When we don't numb ourselves, when we don't skip the hard stuff and we feel the growing pains, the payoff is way higher. There's something our spirit needs to tell us.
We just have to be available to hear it!
I've come to know another way to hear what our spirit is ready to tell us, and that's through Intuitive Collage. My new friend Dara Chambers, creator of Soulfully Creative, is joining me in March for our next women's retreat.
Here's how she explains Intuitive Collage:
"You are a creative being with access to deep intuitive wisdom. In this intuitive collage experience, you’ll let go of overthinking and embrace subconscious expression. Unlike a traditional vision board, this process invites you to create a personal oracle card—a visual dialogue with Source, rich with insights and messages. We'll begin with a grounding meditation, followed by guided steps for creating your collage, and close with sharing and reflection. No artistic skill is required! This isn’t about making a pretty picture but connecting to your highest self through creativity. Come with an open mind and a willing heart!"
If you're in the Austin area on March 1, or you can plan to travel, we'd love to see you! It's the only on-location retreat I'm offering in 2025, so let's not miss the chance to practice, reflect, and EMERGE together in this time of great change and transformation.

And if change is on your mind, you'll love this week's podcast episode 49: Navigating Change: Finding the Cracks in Your Energy. Listen, and get Chakra Savvy with me ;)
And finally! Embrace change with your intention on the next New Moon with Savvy Intentions. We are harnessing the power of Chakra One and the New Moon in Aquarius to loosen our restrictions and open up to a new vision for 2025. Sign up for FREE at www.jessgoulding.com/chakrasavvy.
However we can be connected, Jessica, I'm so grateful you join me here every Tuesday. As you can see from Monday's student, you inspire me every day in how you engage with yoga, meditation, breath, and intention, transforming discomfort into growth and pain into revelation. Thank you for showing up like that in the world! I believe it truly matters.
May you tap into your deepest knowing this week, foster your relationship with Source, and boldly create what you're here to create.
Much love
